In unique nostalgic tradition, Santa invites us to slip through the open door into the world of the annual Christmas pageant; where our little lambs and angels excitedly don their costumes, practice their memorized lines and anxiously scan the audience to make sure Mom’s and Dad’s eyes are focused on them while they perform. The occasional forgotten line or misstep in timing joyfully calls our hearts once again to enter into the wonder of the moment of Immanuel – God is with us.
Once more the story is told.
Once more the proclamation is made.
Once more the door is opened.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” –Revelation 3:20 NASB
